Arch. Borislav Ignatov called on BNT to wait for the decision of the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) on the reorganization of traffic on "Patriarch Evtimiy" Blvd. He believes, quoted by news.bg, that the policy led by PP-DB-Save Sofia is good and that the capital needs pedestrian and bicycle lanes.
Arch. Ignatov defended "Save Sofia", as according to him they have good ideas that border on European ones. He countered the criticism, adding that the traffic was caused by the traffic lights, not the widening of streets and parking.
He suggested that roundabouts be built at every key intersection in the capital. Arch. Ignatov pointed out that underground parking could be built in many places in the capital, such as under the Sports Ministry or under the Vasil Levski National Stadium.
Arch. Borislav Ignatov also commented on the possible expansion of the blue zone in Sofia. He is of the opinion that the Center for Urban Mobility should make a clear report on where the funds from the parking sms are going before the blue zone is extended.
