A serious accident occurred on the central beach in Sozopol last night, BNT reported. A child was run over by a garbage disposal company's machine shortly after 8:00 p.m.
According to initial information, it was left unattended.
The child was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The child's relatives explained that they lost sight of him for seconds. At that point, the 9-year-old and his cousin tried to get on the machine for a ride. The other child was not injured.
Doctors are fighting for the injured child's life.
His relatives insist that he be transported by helicopter to Sofia, but at the moment his condition does not allow it.
