When asked whether the BSP will meet with the other parties to file an appeal to the Constitutional Court for the annulment of the elections, Dobrev clarified: “I will speak today on my behalf, as I am not part of the party's leadership, the group has not yet constructed. What will we change if we make such a complaint? We will cancel the election and conduct it again in the same way. Here we have to open the topic of holding elections. The bought vote is the smallest and least weighted against all that we see.”
It is clear to him that the election campaign has already started. “When you start with the first law – Electoral Code, it is clear that your first task is to go to the polls again. People don't want to vote because their vote doesn't make sense.”
„The sanitary cordon around Delyan Peevski is an issue that is not relevant for us. We have a decision of our bodies, in which we say that we will not form a coalition with GERB and DPS. BSP has been in a sanitary cordon several times, he added.
„The first and second will be mandate holders, they must say: „we have 101 deputies, you are welcome to see our program and join us”, and we will decide whether to support them. I know that everyone will support the BSP because we are a serious and predictable party. Those who put cordons on us are no longer on the political scene today. We can be a stabilizing factor. "I am sad that we are the fifth force with 20 deputies," said Dobrev.
He also said: “I am not happy with our results, but we stopped the free fall. We united left-wing people, voters were not faced with a choice. From now on with our actions and behavior in the NA, we can build on. We are saddened that we do not have an elected leadership. The pre-election campaign overtook the intra-party campaign.”
