Over 600 birds were killed by the New Year's dawn in Koprivshtitsa. This was reported by “Green Balkans”, NOVA reported.
The birds are of the mountain finches species - Fringila montifringila.
Veterinarians managed to find 15 injured birds, which they are trying to save at the wildlife center.
