From 12:00 today, the organization of traffic will change between the 10th and 23rd km, as well as between the 237th and 253rd km in the Sliven district of the Trakia highway (AM) due to road surface repairs, the Road Infrastructure Agency (API) announced, quoted by BTA.
In both sections, the passage in the Burgas lane will be completely restricted. Traffic will pass in both directions in the Sofia lane, in which one lane will be set aside for those traveling to Burgas and two lanes for those traveling to Sofia. The deadline for the completion of the repair work in the sections is expected to be by June 30.
API appeals to drivers to drive carefully, observe traffic rules and speed limits, and avoid risky overtaking that endanger the safety of all other travelers.
BTA recalls that from May 7 to May 11, a temporary traffic organization will be introduced in a nearly 13-kilometer section of the Podbalkanski road in the Burgas region due to repairs. Traffic will be carried out in stages in one lane due to repairs, according to the RIA.
