He again pointed out that if our country wants to terminate the agreement, it will have to pay over 6 billion leva in penalties. In his words, this will ruin the good neighborly relations between Bulgaria and Turkey.
"By terminating it in court, every lawyer knows that they will condemn us for 6 billion leva. Yes, they will receive some money from Bulgaria, but they will lose their good neighborly relations. "I think that President Erdogan in no way wants to spoil his relations with Bulgaria," he explained.
Boyko Borissov stressed that his visit to Turkey was not aimed at renegotiating the parameters of the agreement.
