„I saw Boyko Borisov talking about "Botaş" again a while ago, which is correct. The interests there are again connected with Russia and Radev, but Boyko Borisov is silent about "Turkish Stream". He is silent because before he used to get on the helicopter, make videos of himself building the pipes and then chase Putin through the corridors of Istanbul to show photos of himself building the "Turkish Stream". This was commented on the sidelines of the parliament by the PP-DB MP and co-chairman of "Yes, Bulgaria" Ivaylo Mirchev, quoted by dariknews.bg
According to him, the GERB leader has “served Putin's interest so that he could start the war in Ukraine“.
“Today, however, he is silent about the fact that the EC clearly tells us that Russian gas flows through “Turkish Stream“, commented Ivaylo Mirchev.
According to the MP, these are not just energy interests, but geopolitics and “we see how Borisov can both have sailboats in the Black Sea and be played by a pro-Western actor. And this is the connection with “Vazrazhdane“ and the rather good collaboration between them“.
Asked whether there could be consequences for our country because of the gas, Mirchev said: “If we cannot prove, after the European regulation is adopted, that the natural gas is not Russian, theoretically it is possible that this gas pipeline cannot be used. The origin of natural gas is proven with certificates. But this is very difficult when your pipe comes from Russia and when Russian gas has always flowed through it and when the company that transports and buys the capacity is called “Gazprom export“. As we know, it is Russian“.
