A minibus failed to stop at a "Stop" sign near Isperih, hit a car and killed a woman

A woman died in a serious accident near Isperih, the police reported.

The incident occurred at the intersection between the main road E-70 and the exit for the town of Isperih. The report was filed by tel. 112 at 18:50.

A minibus, driven by a 23-year-old man from Razgrad, failed to stop at a "Stop" sign and hit a passenger car moving on the main road in the direction of Ruse. A 69-year-old woman, the wife of the 70-year-old driver of the car, died on the spot in the impact. The two have dual citizenship and are originally from the village of Kosharna, Ruse Region.

In addition to the driver, two other people were traveling in the bus, which has a Dutch registration. All the injured were taken to the Razgrad Hospital, and their condition is currently being clarified.

The inspection of the scene and the investigation into the incident continue.
