Former high school basketball coach from New York State has been arrested in the United States for having sex with 15 -year player for six months, WHAM-TV reported.
Ann Collins, 28, was brought before the court. In mid-May, the former junior athlete said she seduced him and repeatedly involved him in sexual relations between March and August 2018. At the time, the victim was 15 and Collins was 22.
According to investigators, the crimes were committed in front of the Monroe County school where the woman worked. Collins coached the school's basketball and softball teams from 2017 to 2022. She has since stopped working with students and started working as a social worker.
On Tuesday, June 4, the woman was charged with five counts. She immediately posted bail and was released pending trial. The investigation continues. The police do not rule out that other students suffered from Collins' actions.
