Comment by Emi Baruch:
Boyko Borisov, in the turbulent zone of his own ego, showed how much he was offended - not only in front of the party's active and entire leadership, but also in front of all of Bulgaria. The recording of his 24-minute monologue could have remained as part of the GERB video archives, but the party leader had decided otherwise. Like an angry Achilles - "deprived of divine immortality, but the greatest of earthly heroes", Borisov chose to play out in front of the audience variants of a hypothetical national earthquake: either to continue participating in saving the state, to appear to us as an epic hero in the finale, or to let the people suffer, entangled in "circles, circles and people who are not involved in politics at all".
The silent witnesses in the hall
Silent as silent three-dimensional images in front of him (and in front of everyone who watched the recording) sat those "living room" who dare not blink in front of the boss, but give orders in the parliament hall, where they are actually sent by their voters.
Borisov, embittered by the lack of "coalition culture", uses bright and quite insulting qualifications, talking about his coalition partners and the second person in the state hierarchy - the Speaker of the National Assembly. Not only about them, by the way.
The leader of the party in power rather shamelessly and perfidiously humiliated his "own" Prime Minister, who was sitting behind him as an optical illusion of his assigned function. It is not necessary to make a lexical analysis of what was heard for this humiliation to resonate strongly. It can be retold like this: If it were not for Rosen Zhelyazkov, but Borisov, who was Prime Minister, "these outrages would not have happened."
But they did happen. And although he was not directly named, the Prime Minister is also among the culprits. It was said that Rosen Zhelyazkov is a weak Prime Minister, "more lax" than Borisov. And why was he weak? Well, because his hands were tied, we learned. And we took a breather when, towards the end of the monologue, the GERB leader, encouragingly and threateningly, untied them and allowed him to bang on the table. "Can't you do it - come on!"
What do GERB voters think about this?
The whole contradictory talk in yet another stand-up scene reminded us of times of one-party subordination, which seem to have been forgotten by the older generation. Back then, the conclusions of the First were not discussed, no one dared to ask a question or comment on what was said. The question to those present sounded somewhat mocking at the end: "Are there any questions?”.
The questions are for GERB voters - will they swallow this? Won't they be shocked by the reports of the emissaries who were sent to various places after the anger of the "father" to gather "popular love"…
This is how their reports can be summarized: "The people's representatives began meetings with the people, who unanimously expressed their support for the party of order and stability and stated that it was this party that was most prepared to take over the helm of the state. With Boyko Borisov at the helm!”.
When we have fallen into an apathetic swoon
However, around the corner with a sly smile and complete confidence stands Delyan Peevski. With one hand he "supports", and with both he grabs every opportunity to take a bite out of "caring for people".
And he will succeed, because they, the people, continue to reside in the timelessness of an apathetic unconsciousness. As if this does not concern them. As if it happens elsewhere and at another time.
