Bayern (Munich) defeated Sporting (Lisbon) 3:1 in a match from the 6th round of the main phase of the Champions League, played at the "Allianz Arena", sportal.bg reported.

In the 54th minute, Joshua Kimmich scored an own goal to give the Portuguese a lead. However, the Bavarians reacted as if stung and quickly managed to turn the score around with goals from Serge Gnabry (65'), the team's super talent Lennart Karl (69') and Jonathan Ta (77'). The 17-year-old Bayern jewel became the youngest player to score in three consecutive games, after scoring against Club Brugge and Arsenal, and did not take part in the PSG match. The good news for Vincent Kompany was that Alphonso Davies returned to the game after a long absence, and played a few minutes.

Vincent Kompany could not rely on the suspended Luis Diaz, as well as the still recovering Jamal Musiala, and Sascha Boey is also injured.

In this match, Bayern's starters returned, with only Michael Oliseh, Joshua Kimmich, Dayot Upamecano and Konrad Laimer keeping their places from the previous match with Stuttgart. Harry Kane, Jonathan Ta and Aleksandar Pavlovich started again from the first minute, as well as Manuel Neuer in goal. The great talent of the Bavarians Lennart Karl also started from the first minute. The big news is that Alphonso Davies returned to the team for the first time in nearly nine months after his long injury, suffered with his national team Canada.

Sporting coach Rui Borges had serious problems, as he will be without the injured Giovanni Kenda, Francisco Trincao, Daniel Bragança and Pedro Gonçalves. The Portuguese also came out in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Colombian Luis Suarez leading the attack of the guests, and behind him were Jenny Catamo, Maximiliano Araujo and Alisson Santos.

In the 5th minute, the young Lennart Karl scored with a nice shot from the penalty area, but his goal was canceled due to Serge Gnabry's offside. In the 17th minute, the great talent of the Bavarians had a chance to score again after a mix-up, but the ball bounced in front of him and he was unable to direct it well. Shortly after, Gnabry made a good breakthrough, but his shot went wide of Rui Silva's goal. In the 25th minute, the German international again wedged in from the left and shot well, but the Sporting goalkeeper managed to clear for a corner.

A few minutes later, the Portuguese had their best chance so far in the match. Jenni Catamo came in from the right and crossed sharply, and Jonathan Ta cleared it with a split-second. The ball flew dangerously towards Bayern's goal, but Manuel Neuer managed to save. The Bavarians immediately responded with a dangerous, accurate shot by Kane. In the 37th minute, the England captain hit the Sporting side post with a long-range shot. A minute before the end of regular time in the first half, Lennart Karl made a great breakthrough and passed several opponents, but shot into the body of Rui Silva.

The second half began with a good chance for the guests, but Katamo's diagonal shot went just wide of Neuer's goal. In the 54th minute, Sporting managed to score their goal. Joao Simoes broke through from the left and crossed sharply, and Joshua Kimmich, in an attempt to clear, put the ball into his own net - 0:1 for the Portuguese. The German captain himself tried to quickly get revenge and shot from distance, and Karl did the same, but Silva saved both long shots.

However, Bayern still managed to quickly equalize the score. In the 65th minute, Michael Oliseh crossed from a corner, and Serge Gnabry was left completely uncovered by Sporting's defense, which had been acting flawlessly so far - 1:1. And just four minutes later, the match turned completely around. After a three-way combination between Oliseh, Laimer and Karl, the ball reached Bayern's great talent, who with a shot from the air left no chance for Silva - 2:1 for the Bavarians. This was the third goal in the Champions League for the 17-year-old jewel of the German champions.

The intrigue in the match finally ended in the 77th minute. Then Kimmich crossed well, and Gnabry headed the ball to Jonathan Ta, who also scored - 3:1 for Bayern. Until the end, the match was mostly played out, with Kompany having the luxury of taking out some of his starters, and after a long absence, Alphonso Davies appeared in the game for Bayern.
