The Spanish Football Federation announced that the home match of their national team against Bulgaria will be held at the "Jose Soria" stadium in Valladolid, reported sportal.bg.
The Group E match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers is on October 14 at 9:45 PM.
"La Furia Roja" returns to the stadium in Valladolid almost two years after their last meeting there, when Luis de la Fuente's team defeated Georgia 3:1 in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
In addition to this, the Spaniards have played three more matches at the "Jose Soria" stadium. The first was a friendly match against the USA (2:0) in 1992. The next was 5 years later during the 1998 World Cup qualifiers against the Czech Republic (1:0). The third match was again a control match against Côte d'Ivory Coast (3:2) in 2006.
As is known, the "Lions" start the upcoming qualifiers against Spain at home on September 4 at 9:45 p.m. at the "Vasil Levski" National Stadium.
