Swiontek will compete for the title of the women's grass tournament in Bad Homburg

World number 74 in women - Alexandra Eala, qualified for the final of the grass tournament in Eastbourne, England from the WTA 250 series.

World number 8 in women - Iga Swiontek, qualified for the final of the women's grass tournament in Bad Homburg, Germany from the WTA 500 series, FOCUS reported.

The 24-year-old Pole defeated the Italian Jasmine Paolini in the semifinals with 6:1, 6:3 in 67 minutes of play.

Swiontek hit 4 aces, while her 29-year-old rival did not record a direct point. Paolini, who is ranked 4th in the world, made 2 double faults, while Swiontek did not make a mistake. The Pole broke her opponent 5 times and allowed only 1 break point.

Swiontek will play against American Jessica Pegula or Czech Linda Noskova.
