Patriot and Himars missiles! What do the military aid packages for Ukraine contain?

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that two packages as part of military support for Kiev will include missiles for the Patriot and Himars air defense systems, writes Ukrainskaya Pravda.

Zelensky added that Ukraine has also received $ 2 billion specifically for the PURL program.

"We will receive additional money for October. I think we will have somewhere between $ 3-3.5 billion. The first two packages are $ 500 million each," he said.

When asked what exactly these packages will contain, the president said that there will be air defense missiles. "I won't go into all the details in these packages, there will definitely be Patriot and Himars missiles", he said.

Yesterday, Reuters reported that President Trump had approved the first packages of military aid to Ukraine under a new mechanism under which the weapons are financed by European NATO members.
