Zelensky is already in Washington for the meeting with Trump

The two leaders are expected to make a final decision on the Tomahawk missiles

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Washington for talks with his American counterpart Donald Trump on the supply of weapons, including long-range Tomahawk missiles, NOVA reported, citing a source in his delegation who spoke to AFP.

An anonymous source in the Ukrainian delegation confirmed the arrival, without providing further details.

However, the US president expressed doubts about the provision of Tomahawk missiles to Kiev, AFP reported. The Republican said that the US cannot “exhaust“ its own stockpile.

Trump also told reporters that he had discussed the issue of providing “Tomahawk“ of Ukraine and with Russian President Vladimir Putin during a telephone conversation, with Putin “not liking the idea“.

After the conversation, the Kremlin said that providing “Tomahawk“ would not change the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine, but it would jeopardize any peace agreement.
