A young man shot three colleagues and then committed suicide in Texas. Meanwhile, five people were injured outside a supermarket in San Francisco, California, the Associated Press reported, quoted by BTA.

The latest mass shootings in the US are once again drawing attention to this problem in the country and the debate over tightening gun control.

A 21-year-old man shot two men and a woman at a landscaping company in San Antonio on Saturday morning, police in this city in Texas announced yesterday. Hours later, the killer, identified as Jose Hernandez Gallo, was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The motive for the crime is still unclear, police said, but they said the shooter did not choose his victims at random. The investigation is ongoing.



In San Francisco, five people were shot outside a supermarket on Saturday night, local authorities said.

Four minors were also hospitalized.

No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, and police have not announced any suspects at this time.
