Citizens of European countries do not want to finance Ukraine, just as they do not want it in the European Union (EU). This opinion was expressed today by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, TASS reports, quoted by Focus.

"Europeans do not want their money wasted on Ukraine and do not want Ukraine in the EU. If Central Europe holds out, Western Europe will follow their example and force their leaders to change course“, Orban wrote on the social platform X.

Relations between Hungary and Ukraine have deteriorated sharply in recent days due to disagreements over the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Kiev has made direct threats against Orban, and Budapest has accused the authorities of the neighboring country of attempting to interfere in Hungary's elections.
