China has decided to provide Ukraine with an additional package of humanitarian energy aid, Ukrainskaya Pravda reports, citing Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.
The Ukrainian diplomat met in Munich with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, at which the parties made this decision.
"I am grateful for Beijing's decision to provide Ukraine with an additional package of humanitarian energy aid“, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister noted.
During the talks, the parties discussed ways to develop mutually beneficial trade and bilateral relations based on mutual respect for territorial integrity. Sibiga confirmed Ukraine's interest in contacts with China at the highest level.
“The Ukrainian side informed Wang Yi about the situation on the front, Russia's attacks on the Ukrainian energy system and the damage caused to Chinese companies as a result of the Russian strikes”.
The meeting ended with an agreement to continue contacts and mutual visits.
