The war in Ukraine is unlikely to end in 2026, as the Russians are not interested in this. This opinion was expressed by the former commander of the US Army in Europe, General Ben Hodges, in a comment to Novosti.LIVE, writes Focus.

He said the Russians would only agree to a ceasefire if they were forced to.
"Unfortunately, I don't see the US government putting that kind of pressure on them," Hodges said.
The general added that the Russians "don't respect Europe enough to listen to them." He said Russia would continue to fight in Ukraine until Moscow was put under serious pressure.
