Three people have died and four were injured in two separate avalanches in the French Alps, local authorities and French media reported, quoted by Reuters and dariknews.bg.
Rescue teams worked at the scene of the incidents for more than four hours before operations were suspended due to the risk of more avalanches.
Two of the injured were seriously injured and were evacuated by helicopter to nearby hospitals.
