The Beechcraft C90 plane lost control minutes after taking off from the city of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand state. The plane was carrying a critically ill patient.
On board were a doctor, a paramedic and two family members of the patient, as well as the pilot and co-pilot.
According to initial information, government officials believe that the plane encountered severe turbulence caused by adverse weather conditions, which led to a loss of control.
