US President Donald Trump has again sharply criticized NATO countries for their lack of support for the Israeli-American military operation against Iran, warning that his country will "never forget" this move, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
"NATO member countries have done absolutely nothing to help deal with this mentally ill and already military-depleted country called Iran", Trump wrote this morning on his social network "Truth Social".
In the middle of this month, Trump called on the alliance countries to help secure oil supplies through the vital Strait of Hormuz, which have almost been stopped given the ongoing military actions. However, European NATO countries, including Germany, have ruled out any possibility of participating in a possible mission to protect merchant ships along this key sea route, DPA notes.
