US President Donald Trump hinted that the United States could strike Iranian power plants and bridges on Tuesday, a day after the expiration of his ultimatum to Tehran to open the Strait of Hormuz, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

According to him, Iran has another 48 hours to reach an agreement, otherwise action will follow against key infrastructure.

“Tuesday will be a day for power plants and bridges all in one“, Trump wrote on his social network “Truth Social“, again demanding that Iran open the Strait of Hormuz - a strategically important route for global oil trade.

He warned that if the strait remains blocked, “you will live in hell“.

Trump also said that US forces were involved in an operation to rescue a crew member of a downed F-15 fighter jet over Iranian territory, describing him as “seriously injured, but very brave“.
