Ukrainian drones kill two Russian civilians near Belgorod

In recent weeks, Ukrainian armed forces have increased their attacks on energy infrastructure in Russia

Two people were killed in a Ukrainian drone attack in Russia's border Belgorod region, TASS and AFP reported , quoted by BTA, referring to regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

He announced on his channel in "Telegram" that the attack was carried out in the village of Poroz in the Graivoronsky city district. Two thrown explosives set fire to a residential building, causing the death of two civilians.

Belgorod region has regularly been the scene of deadly Ukrainian attacks since Russia's full-scale invasion of the neighboring country.

Tonight, authorities in several more western Russian regions reported similar attacks. There are no reports of injured people, but some material damage has been caused.

In the Kaluga region, a drone explosion caused minor damage to energy infrastructure.

Six drones were shot down over the neighboring Bryansk region. One of them caused a fire in an energy facility.

Five drones were shot down over the Kursk region.

An unmanned aerial vehicle set fire to a container with fuel and lubricants at an energy facility in the Smolensk region.

Drones have been neutralized over Ryazan region.
