The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Great Britain today to take part in a meeting of the European Political Community, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
The head of state announced details of his visit in Telegram, Ukrinform reported.
"For the fourth time, the countries of the European space participate in the summit meeting of the European political community to discuss common topics and challenges. "I arrived in Great Britain to participate in the summit, to hold bilateral meetings with partners and to sign new agreements in the field of security," Zelensky said.
He noted that there will be a separate program dedicated to bilateral relations with the United Kingdom.
"I will meet His Majesty King Charles III, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, civil servants and heads of defense companies. We will sign an intergovernmental agreement to support the Ukrainian defense industry, discuss future defense cooperation and expand our defense capabilities, Zelensky said.
