The Tagan court in Moscow fined Google in the amount of 4 million rubles for the platform's refusal to remove false information, the TASS agency reported, quoted by News.bg.

The technology giant was found guilty of committing an administrative violation under the Code of Administrative Violations of the Russian Federation (failure to fulfill the obligation of a website owner to remove information, if the obligation to remove such information is provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation).

It is not specified which publications on the Internet became the reason for drawing up the protocol against the company.

Previously, the same court has repeatedly fined Google for administrative violations.
