At least five people were killed today in a home for the elderly in eastern Croatia, Croatian national television reported, Agence France-Presse reported, quoted by BTA.
According to the first data released by the local media, a man entered a home for the elderly in Daruvar, 130 km from Zagreb, and opened fire. The man managed to escape, but was quickly detained by the police, who for the moment refused to comment.
