Hungary expects the European Commission to force Ukraine to allow the transit of oil from the Russian company "Lukoil" through its territory Budapest will continue to block the payment of the next tranche of the European Peace Support Mechanism to Ukraine, said the Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijártó in front of ATV TV, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
"We will continue to block the payment of the European Peace Support Mechanism until Ukraine solves this problem with "Lukoil", Szijjártó told the Hungarian TV channel.
Yesterday, Hungary and Slovakia requested consultations with Ukraine with the mediation of the EC, after Kiev placed the Russian company "Lukoil" on the sanctions list and this led to the suspension of oil supplies to the company.
