The Kosovo Serb party Serbian List demanded an increased presence of soldiers from the international peacekeeping force KFOR in populated areas in Kosovo where Serbs live, the Belgrade-based Beta news agency reported, quoted by BTA.
Serbian List stated that "AOK" (Kosovo Liberation Army) and the name of Faton Hajrizi (who recently killed a Serbian policeman in Serbia) were written on the house of the Đurković family in the Vučitrn municipality last night, adding that such acts only serve to intimidate the Serbian people in Kosovo and therefore it is necessary to increase the presence of KFOR and EULEX in Serbian areas.
"The writing of this graffiti best illustrates the state of interethnic relations between Serbs and Albanians, poisoned by the anti-Serbian narrative of the Albin Kurti regime, which is trying to cover up all political failures and defeats with hatred and persecution of Serbs“, said Srbska Lista.
"We insist that EULEX and KFOR strengthen their presence in Serbian areas and act preventively to ensure security and freedom for Serbs in these areas. "Given the information that KFOR has increased its number, it is expected that at least some of them will be deployed in Serbian communities that are exposed to such provocations, especially considering that Kosovo police officers have been sent by their minister to the north to harass the Serbian people," added Srbska Lista.
