The Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the well-known Maryana Bezuglaya, blames the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the lack of preparation of the city for defense. In a message on Telegram, Bezuglaya stated that there are no fortifications of any kind in the city, as quoted by Focus.
"I recently visited Toretsk. The city is definitely not ready for defense, there are no fortifications inside, she wrote.
The deputy, who became known mostly for her criticism of the former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny and the current Alexander Sirski, also noted that there are scattered fortifications around Toretsk. In addition, problems with electronic warfare systems have been identified. All this information has become public knowledge.
