Ukraine reported that it shot down four missiles and 15 attack drones launched by Russia on Ukrainian territory, Reuters reported, citing the Ukrainian Air Force, as quoted by BTA.
The four downed missiles were ballistic “Iskander“ and winged “X-59“.
Russia fired 4 Iskander missiles at Ukraine, the air force said, but did not specify what happened to the two missiles, which they did not say were destroyed.
Debris from the demolished objects damaged windows of a residential building, an office building and two gas stations in the Kyiv region, said the head of the military administration of the region, Serhiy Popko.
There are no reports of casualties or material damage. Several explosions rocked Kyiv late yesterday evening, Reuters reported. But officials said air defense intercepted the enemy missiles.
