A Russian missile attack against the city of Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine damaged a medical facility today, the city's mayor wrote in Telegram, quoted by Reuters and BTA.

The district governor of the Kharkiv region said that two people are being treated for acute stress reactions and added that there may be more people under the rubble.

Local authorities said earlier that the attack also caused a fire in the central part of Kharkiv.

The city is located just 30 km from the border with Russia and has been under frequent attack since Moscow's invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022.
