Biden on Trump: If he wins, watch what will happen...

He is a real danger to American security, the American president said

The President of the United States, Joe Biden, said in the first in his television interview, since he gave up the race for the White House, that Republican candidate Donald Trump is a "real danger to American security", BNR reported.

"Mark my words -- if he wins...this election, watch what happens,'' Biden told CBS News in an interview that aired last night.

"He is a danger, he is a real danger to American security. You see, we are at a turning point in world history. Democracy is the key," Biden noted in the interview.

He also said he will campaign for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris in the state of Pennsylvania, which is expected to be key to winning the presidential election in November, Reuters reports.

Biden answered in the affirmative when asked if he would campaign for Harris. In his words, he and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro "are organizing a campaign tour of Pennsylvania". "I will also campaign in other states and do whatever Kamala thinks will help the most," he added.

Harris announced last week that Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz would be her running mate.

"He's my type of guy, he's genuine, he's smart, I've known him for several decades. I think this is a damn good team," commented Biden.
