China will join forces with Russia to to contribute to maintaining the peace and stability of the entire planet. This was stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
„I attach great importance to the development of Sino-Russian relations, and I am ready, together with Putin, to constantly expand the comprehensive practical cooperation between the two countries, jointly promote the high-quality development and modernization of the two countries, and make new contributions to the preservation of the peace and stability of the planet, to contribute to the formation of a fateful human community", he emphasized in his congratulations to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations.
As Xi Jinping specified, he intends to take this anniversary “as an opportunity to firmly establish the direction for the further development of relations between the two countries”. He noted that China and Russia are "major neighbors, world powers and leading countries with emerging markets".
„In the past 75 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, both countries have contributed to the constant strengthening and modernization of China-Russia ties based on the fundamental interests of the two countries and their peoples,” the Chinese president added. According to him, the most important characteristics of the relations maintained between Beijing and Moscow are “permanent good-neighborly friendship, comprehensive strategic cooperation, mutually beneficial contacts and mutually beneficial interaction”.
