The war in Ukraine will end by the end of May, after which there will be a full restart of the government, announces the former Prime Minister of Ukraine, leader of the "Batkivshchyna" party; Yulia Tymoshenko, reports the Serbian "Politika", quoted by FOCUS, referring to Russian media.
"There are international plans to end the war in Ukraine by the end of May. And this is very optimistic and now everything is moving towards this decision. This is very, very important for all of us. So when all this is over, there will definitely be a complete reboot," she said from Odessa.
"In early spring, Tymoshenko met with high-ranking officials from the entourage of US President Donald Trump. Trump himself previously pointed to the decline in the rating of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and called him a "dictator", emphasizing the need to hold elections in Ukraine," the European editorial office of Politico wrote earlier.
Secret meetings, as specified by the Brussels media, were also held with representatives of the party of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny and the Mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko.
Pastor Mark Burns, personal spiritual advisor to US President Donald Trump, visited the site of the Russian missile attack in the Ukrainian city of Krivoy Rog and called on the international community to stand with Ukraine and condemn the brutality of the attack, Ukrinform reported, quoted by BTA, referring to Burns' publication on the Ex platform.
In his publication, the pastor wrote that "the world must condemn this atrocity and stand with Ukraine against such terror.“
Burns visited the site with the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Moshe Reuven Azman.
On April 4, Russian forces launched a missile attack on a residential area in Kryvyi Rih, killing 19 people, including 9 children. 74 were injured. Today, one of the wounded died from his wounds, bringing the death toll to 20.
Sunday was a day of mourning in Ukraine.
By early April, the Russian army had amassed more than 100 missiles. According to military and political observer Alexander Kovalenko, however, Russia is selective in its missile attacks due to the significant wear and tear of its missile launchers, UNIAN reports, quoted by FOKUS.
According to him, Russia currently produces 50-60 units of the Kh-101/555, 30-45 units of the 3M-14 ("Caliber"), 30 units of the 9M723 "Iskander", 15-30 units of the 9M728 "Iskander-K" and 4-5 units of the Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" every month.
According to Kovalenko, as of early April, and taking into account the final strikes on Ukraine, Russia had over 250 X-101/555 aircraft, over 500 "Caliber", about 110 "Iskander-M", about 280 "Iskander-K" and 75 "Kinzhal".
As the observer emphasizes, Russian forces have accumulated enough X-101/555 and "Caliber" missiles to systematically terrorize Ukraine with strikes, "but this is not happening". He explains that one of the reasons is that the main carriers of these missiles are very worn out and their frequent use can lead to a disaster.
"That is why the combat flights of the Tu-95MS are not carried out every week, but once a month. At the same time, these aircraft are equipped with a limited combat package, and not the most complete one possible according to their technical characteristics - 8 missiles per side. Secondly, the effectiveness of the Kh-101 and ZM14 is much lower than that of the ballistic 9M723. The probability of intercepting subsonic cruise missiles by our air defense is much higher than in the case of 9M723, which can only be intercepted by the Patriot and SAMP/T air defense systems. "We can count the latter on the fingers of one hand," the expert said.
He points out that while the X-101 and 3M14 missiles can be shot down even by a mobile firing group from a portable air defense system, the 9M723 "Iskander" is elusive for most Ukrainian air defense systems.
"So the conclusion is this: launch 20 X-101 missiles worth over $100 million and lose 80%, 90% or all 100% with a high probability, or launch a 9M723 "Iskander" in an area where there are no Patriot and SAMP/T air defense systems, and you have a 99% chance of hitting it," the analyst emphasizes.
He suggests that this is why Russia is currently stockpiling Kh-101 and 3M14 missiles, while the consumption of 9M723 is continuous, making this missile a major tool of terror.
