US President Donald Trump said today that he will speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
“The topics of the conversation will be stopping the “bloodshed“, in which an average of more than 5,000 Russian and Ukrainian soldiers are killed every week, as well as trade“, he wrote in a post on his social media “Truth Social“.
Trump added that he will then speak with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and with various representatives of NATO countries.
“I hope that the day will be productive, a ceasefire will be agreed and this very brutal war – "A war that should never have started – will end. God bless us all!!!," the American president also wrote.
