The Israeli army issued an order today for the evacuation of residents of Khan Younis - the second largest city in the Gaza Strip - as well as nearby settlements. This was reported by the Associated Press, quoted by BTA.
The Israeli military spokesman Avihai Adraeh published the order on his social media accounts, emphasizing that the entire area “will be considered a dangerous combat zone“.
The measure was taken against the backdrop of a new wave of military operations through which Israel significantly escalates the conflict in Gaza, the agency notes.
