Iran: We suffered damage, but our nuclear industry cannot be eradicated

Three members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were killed in an Israeli strike on targets in Zanjan province

Iran said its nuclear expertise could not be destroyed despite the US attack on several Iranian nuclear sites overnight, AFP reported.

“The US should know that the nuclear industry is rooted in our country and its roots cannot be destroyed“, said Behrouz Kamalvandi, spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, quoted by Iran's Tasnim news agency.

“Of course we suffered damage, but this is not the first time in this sector“, he added.

Three servicemen from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were killed in an Israeli strike on targets in the Zanjan province in the northwestern part of the republic, the Tasnim news agency reported.

It is noted that the three fighters were killed while carrying out tasks to protect Iranian territory. No further details were provided.
