The United States Senate today passed President Donald Trump's budget "mega-law" after days of tough negotiations and a long session to introduce changes, world agencies reported, BTA reports.

The law was adopted by a vote of 51 to 50 in the final vote, with Vice President J.D. Vance casting the deciding vote.

The document contains a huge package of measures that legislatively enshrine Trump's main priorities, but at the same time will increase the national debt by $ 3.3 trillion.

The bill now returns to the House of Representatives for a final vote approval.

President Trump has insisted that the passage process be completed as quickly as possible so that he can sign the bill into law before Independence Day, July 4.

The voluminous document of about 940 pages provides for numerous tax breaks, spending cuts and other Republican priorities, including additional funds for national defense and enhanced deportation measures.
