Lavrov has been visiting China since July 13 to participate in a meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers, which is being held in Tianjin.
China is the last stop on the Russian diplomat's tour of Asian countries. From July 10 to 11, Lavrov was in Kuala Lumpur, where he participated in meetings of the heads of foreign affairs of ASEAN. From the capital of Malaysia, he left for a three-day visit to Wonsan, a port city of the DPRK, where a tourist zone was opened on July 1.
