Military expert: Russian army will be forced to destroy Tomahawks in Poland, Romania and the Baltic states

Zelensky expects these missiles to turn Russia and the United States against each other, says Viktor Baranets

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expects to receive long-range Tomahawk missiles from his American counterpart Donald Trump to turn Russia and the United States against each other.

This was stated by military observer Viktor Baranets in an interview with the publication “Abzats“.

According to him, the Russian army will be forced to destroy these missiles “in hubs and airports, that is, in Poland, Romania and the Baltic states“. He predicted such a last resort, since the Tomahawks are capable of hitting Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Earlier, Trump and Zelensky discussed the transfer of Tomahawks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The Trump administration, like the Biden administration, has concerns about the lack of restraint on the part of Ukraine“, reports The Financial Times, citing a source familiar with the negotiations.
