US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke by phone with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani about recent attacks on the country's energy infrastructure, including facilities operated by US companies, State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said last night, quoted by Reuters and BTA.
Rubio stressed the importance of the Iraqi government holding perpetrators accountable and preventing future attacks, the State Department spokeswoman added.
