The framework trade agreement signed yesterday between the European Union and the United States is "less advantageous than the agreement concluded earlier between London and Washington", Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said, quoted by Reuters.
"This is not an agreement... (President) Donald Trump "ate Ursula von der Leyen for breakfast" (European Commission President) This happened, and we suspected it would happen because the US president is a heavyweight in negotiations and the president is a lightweight," Orban said in a podcast.
The deal provides for a 15 percent tariff on most EU goods - half the threatening level imposed earlier than Washington, but according to Orbán, the conditions remain unbalanced.
The agreement with Britain, concluded in early May, provides for import duties into the United States of 10 percent on a wide range of goods, including up to 100,000 cars per year.
