The Ukrainian attack on the Kursk nuclear power plant poses a threat to nuclear safety, interim governor Alexander Khinshtein said, quoted by Reuters, BTA reports.
“They are a threat to nuclear safety and violate all international conventions“, Khinshtein wrote on the “Telegram“ app.
The drone attack this morning damaged an auxiliary transformer at the plant, which led to a 50% drop in the operational capacity of unit three, the NPP press service said in a statement to the media.
