As reported by Reuters with reference to a statement by the general director of Xiaomi Lei Jun (Lei Jun), the first electric car under the same brand can be purchased at a price not higher than 70,000 dollars. The full price list of the car will become known on the day of the official start of sales of the electric car.
It is worth noting that the representative of the company for the first time spoke openly about the price of the model. Lei previously claimed that Porsche or Tesla models serve as benchmarks for the Xiaomi electric car, and hinted that it will be a kind of "premium smartphone" in the world of electric cars.
The technical characteristics of the car appeared in December last year. We learned from them that the electric car will be available in two variants. The first will have a mileage of 668 kilometers. The second, more refined version will be able to drive its owner for a maximum distance of 800 kilometers.
