BYD showed images of the new Qin L hybrid sedan. The Chinese concern will present the four-door model at the Beijing Auto Show, which starts on April 25. It is known that the model received a DM-i hybrid scheme, which will allow the car to travel about two thousand kilometers without recharging. The price of the Qin L is expected to be 120,000 yuan (about 15,500 euros at the current exchange rate).
Judging by the published photos, the long-distance sedan has received a sporty "embossed" design, innovative headlights and a solid relief panel that replaces the radiator grille. In addition, the model has a large air intake in the front bumper. The interior of Qin L is made in the style of other models of the Chinese brand.
According to preliminary data, the dimensions of the sedan will be 4,830 mm in length with a 2,790 mm wheelbase. The car will be powered by a hybrid powertrain based on a 101-horsepower gasoline engine, as well as an electric motor with a power of 163 or 218 horsepower. In addition, the car will receive a battery with a capacity of 10 or 15.9 kilowatt hours. On electricity, the hybrid will be able to travel from 60 to 90 kilometers.
