The Dacia Sandero has consolidated its position as the best-selling car in Europe in the first half of 2025, with an impressive 128,842 units sold. The compact hatchback took the top spot in the European car market, according to data from research company JATO Dynamics.
Although Dacia Sandero sales have decreased by 11% compared to the same period in 2024, the model continues to dominate, proving its popularity among European consumers.
Top 10 best-selling cars in Europe
After Dacia Sandero, the second position is occupied by Renault Clio with 122,489 units sold, which represents a significant increase of 7%. The third most popular model is the Peugeot 208 with 109,146 units sold, recording a growth of 2%.
The top five is completed by the Volkswagen T-Roc and Golf with 106,118 and 104,162 units sold, but they saw a decline of 5% and 17%, respectively. The top ten best-selling cars in Europe also include:
