G7 plans to give Kiev $50 billion loan - 1

G7 countries are working out the technical details of providing Ukraine with a $50 billion loan .USD using Russian frozen assets.

„We continue to negotiate with all our G7 partners on how to provide this USD 50 billion loan. I am convinced that we will succeed. There are many technical aspects in terms of safeguards and coordination and these talks are also taking place within the framework of the European Union, which has committed to contribute up to EUR 35 billion, which is approximately USD 39 billion, and the US has also committed to contribute its share. These technical discussions are ongoing, but I think the leaders will probably be able to resolve this issue in terms of the political will to do so by the end of the year. It is very important that we do this as soon as possible,”, a senior representative of the Washington administration told reporters.

In July, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said Russia would definitely respond to the theft of its assets in Europe. He stressed that Moscow intends to prosecute those involved in the theft of its assets. According to the Kremlin representative, Europe has taken the worst path by deciding to use Russian assets to help Kiev.
