She started climbing the “peaks” in the “Agriculture” fund in August 2022, when, during the interim government of Rumen Radev, she was appointed to the largest European program in agriculture - for the development of rural areas and for the “Fisheries” program.

In the official business card it is said that Iva Ivanova has a master's degree in "Law of the European Union" from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", jointly with the University of Nancy.

He also has a master's degree in "International Business" from the University of Economics in Varna.

From 2010 to the present, Ivanova has held various positions in the State Fund “Agriculture”. Her professional path in DFZ began in the directorate “Contracting on the implementation of development measures in rural areas“ as an expert, rising to the position of chief expert in 2015.

In 2019, Ivanova was promoted to the head of the “Contracting on private measures” department, and two years later she headed the “Contracting on implementation of development measures in rural areas” directorate.

By decision of the Management Board of the DF “Agriculture” as of August 19, 2022, Iva Ivanova has been appointed deputy executive director with portfolios of the Rural Development Program 2014-2020 (PRSR) and the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Program (PMDR) 2014-2020.
