Friday: The deputies did not start with a blitz control, but with a 30-minute break - 1

Eight ministers are scheduled to participate in today's regular parliamentary control. GERB-SDF requested a 30-minute break at the very beginning of the session. Angry, the leader of “Vazrazhdane“ Kostadin Kostadinov shouted from the spot that he could not do such a thing and warned that they would demand the resignation of the Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova.

The service ministers Atanas Ilkov, Atanas Zapryanov, Maria Pavlova, Galya Kondeva, Petar Dimitrov, Petko Nikolov, Valentin Mundrov and Georgi Tahov will answer the parliamentary questions, novini.bg recalls.

Due to urgent commitments, Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Lyudmila Petkova will not participate in the parliamentary control session, informed the chairman Atanas Atanasov at the end of yesterday's session.

The weekly work program of the parliament adopted on Wednesday provides for a blitz control for today's, Friday's, session.

According to Art. 105 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, in the first two hours of the session, on the first Friday of each month, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers shall appear before the National Assembly and answer topical oral questions that relate to the general policy of the government.

The agenda also includes a hearing regarding the mandatory requirement for heavy goods vehicles to enter a virtual queue at the "Danube Bridge" border checkpoint near Ruse, despite Bulgaria's full membership in the Schengen area and the abolition of border controls for freight transport. The acting Minister of Interior, Atanas Ilkov, should participate in it.
